Ms. Vazquez joined Pliant in October 2023 as Vice President, Supply Chain Management.

Ms. Vazquez is a seasoned biopharmaceutical leader who brings over 25 years of global supply chain and operations experience to Pliant. Prior to Pliant, Ms. Vazquez held roles of increasing responsibility at Global Blood Therapeutics, most recently in the role of Vice President, Supply Chain. In this position, Ms. Vazquez built a global commercial and clinical supply chain structure in support of GBT’s development programs and successful global launch of Global Blood’s first commercial product – Oxbryta®. Prior to Global Blood, Ms. Vazquez held Supply Chain leadership roles at Puma Biotechnology and Onyx Pharmaceuticals where she established and developed clinical and commercial supply chain structures in support of development programs and commercialization programs for their first commercial products. Ms. Vazquez began her career with Abbott Laboratories and Johnson & Johnson, in roles spanning Finance and Accounting, Operations/Project Management and Supply Chain as part of their commercial manufacturing operations.

Ms. Vazquez received a B.S. from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez in business administration and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
